Given all analysis of good governance in Nigeria, opinions have already surfaced that few renowned politicians are determined to ensure good tidings filled up the vacuums they see everywhere in the country.
In the north-west, specifically Kano State, one of their own, and a bigwig in the ruling party – the APC, Alhaji Abdulsalam Abdulkareem Zaura, popularly known as A. A. Zaura – has successfully written his name with a golden pen in the good books of political history to become one of the very few who aspire for good governance and structured dividends of democracy.
Despite the challenges, including large-scale insecurity and sluggish economic growth, Mr. Zaura offers the Kano State indigenes great tidings with the breath of new hopes. This is a clear sign the young political and international businessman has to offer his state. His presence into the ruling APC, according to observers opined that the party has become fully balanced with the grandeur of activities. Zaura has proven to be a patriot for his generation. His magnanimity has shown all forms of steadfastness in the game.
Having been an international businessman, Zaura has succeeded in pulling an all-nighter in all aspects of his engagements. Even before surfacing in the political arena, he had developed all forms of humanitarianism and jingoism. His answer to service to humanity is unique! He always put in that philanthropic Activities were his priority in life as he is more concerned with uplifting the well-being of his constituency, irrespective of their background.
The young A. A. Zaura ventured into politics to have more opportunities and to render services to people, especially in the aspect of providing modern health facilities, uplifting the standard of education, and youth empowerment.
Just this week, Alhaji Zaura came into his home state to pay homage and commiserate with families of all persons who lost their lives in recent times when he was away on foreign trips to attend to his businesses, and other personal matters. He appears to be one of the very few political motivators and players in Kano State that qualifies him to run for any position anywhere, regardless of being a member of a political party.
In most of the places he visited, he was described as a people person – an outgoing person who gets along with people really well and is a good listener – someone who is more exciting or interesting than other people, he is larger than life! Political commentators in Kano State defined Mr. Zaura as a brand and mentor to all politicians in the present political atmosphere in Kano. They see him as somebody who has got a strong personality, a Smart cookie. These personalities of the young politician, practically show that he is close to reality, hence he accepts all people as equal.
He visited the elder statesman, Alhaji Aminu Alhassan Dantata, an uncle to late Alhaji Sani Gote, and commiserate with him over the sudden death of the deceased, and prayed for the repose of his soul and Jannatul Firdausi to him. During the historic visits, Alhaji Zaura had first and foremost driven straight to the residence of his campaign director-general, Hon. Yahaya Adamu Garun Ali, and condoled with him over his mother, Hajiya Fadimatu Umar’s death. During the visit, Zaura prayed for the repose of her soul, urging Hon. Ali and his entire family find solace in her sole investments in humanity and her virtues. He equally prayed to Allah Ta’ala to grant her eternal bliss.
All tributes paid by Alhaji Zaura to the family of late Sarkin Bai, and emir of Dambatta, and to the Bagwai people for the unfortunate boat mishap that claimed over 40 persons, and also to the family of late Alhaji Bashir Tofa, have all shown his empathy and kindness to people.
