The Commissioner of Police Zamfara State Command Ayuba Elkanah visited Police Tactical operatives deployed at Maru, Bungudu and Tsafe axis.
The visit is in continuation of the Commissioner’s assessment of various locations where the operatives were deployed across the state.
The purpose was to have an overview of their current operational condition with a view to making appropriate amendments that will enhance their operational capacity that will deal with any security threat.
The Commissioner of Police as usual charged the operatives to be professionally alive to their responsibilities and ensure they protect themselves adequately so that members of their host communities can be protected against any security threats.
The Commissioner of Police commended the resilience of the Operatives and enjoined them to sustain the tempo of ensuring adequate protection of the citizens.
The Commissioner of Police while on operational tour visited some critical stakeholders such as Emirs of Maru, Tsafe and Bungudu where vital security issues were discussed extensively.
