By Ahmed Ahmed The Nigeria College of Education Games Association (NICEGA) would promote national unity as well as develop talent of athletes Provost of Aminu Saleh College of Education Azare Dr. Abdullahi Isyaku has revealed.

Isyaku stated this in a statement issued on the 2020 North East Zonal Preliminaries, Zone F hosted by the Aminu Saleh College of Education Azare Bauchi State.

The tournament was organised for the purpose of promoting national unity and development of talent and potentialities in sports also serving as an avenue for bringing the much desired unity among the participating colleges.
“But will equally promote understanding, integration and comradeship for mutual benefits,” he said.

The tournament will afford the competing teams rare opportunity to showcase their talents , skills , agility and experiences in a bid to out win and or out shine the competitors 

He warned that it must obviously be in a healthier and acceptable manner with matury and decorum.

He further advise the athletes on the need to take advantage of the event and further improve their spirit of sportsmanship , friendliness and mutual understanding for promotion of unity and integrity in sports

Five colleges of education are participating in the preliminaries comprising of FCE Gombe, FCE Yola , COE Zing, COE Hong 
The games include, Football, Basketball Volleyball, handball, Table tennis, Badminton ,Langa and hockey.
